A bit about Paradise Island
Nestled in the Bahamas sits an island hosting one of the world’s largest open-air marine habitats which is home to more than 50,000 aquatic animals. Dolphin Cay also acts as a refuge to sixteen stranded dolphins whose home was destroyed by hurricane Katrina, surrounded by a number of popular beaches including Cabbage Beach and Paradise Beach. If you are looking for something more adventurous, head to the Island’s 141-acre waterscape, Aquaventure, for hair-raising watery fun. For those wanting to venture further afield, Paradise Island connects to the exciting city of Nassau via a system of two bridges that cross over Nassau Harbour. Any movie buffs might recognise the sights of the island as featuring in films such as Thunderball, Casino Royale and The Beatle's film Help!
