A bit about St. James
Uncover sumptuous luxury in a parish known for its upscale resorts and white sand beaches. Known as the platinum coast, St. James features a number of historical and culturally significant sights including Holetown, the site of the first British settlement on the island, now a haven of designer shops and glossy restaurants but still featuring the original inscribed stone to King William from the 17th century. Just outside of Holetown sits Lascelles Plantation, the first English Plantation and now home to 3 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens. Some of the top sights to see include the centuries old St James Parish Church, charmingly built from stone, Folkestone Marine Park and the historic Chattel Village.
